Frankoma Pottery, OK Frankoma used two different types of clay, Ada clay (right), which is a light tan or 'honey' color and Sapulpa clay, which was a brick red color. Ada clay was used from the beginning of the "Frank"pottery in 1933 until late 1954 when Frankoma began using the brick red Sapulpa Clay. |
